The Uses of a Coconut

Coconut shells are used for:

1. Food bowls. You half the coconuts, then drill a hole and use a bolt, 2 washers, and a wing nut to attach to the cage. 

2. Chew toys. Coconut shells are hard, and last long. Many chins enjoy stripping them of their hairy fibers which are also safe. 

Be sure you remove all the meat ( white ) from the shell. Boil it for 30 minutes, then bake at a low tempature ( 200* ) till dry,
